PURPOSE

The purpose of the Baldwin REALTORS® Foundation is to promote safe and healthy living environments for families in Baldwin County through housing-related grants and financial assistance in times of need.

This grant awards $1,000 to non-military and $1,500 to military first-time home buyers after closing. To be eligible, choose one of the Homeowner Training Courses below. Completion is required before closing.

Fannie Mae Training Course

Freddie Mac Training Course

Baldwin First Home Grant

Additional Criteria:

  • The home purchase must be a Primary Residence

  • The home must be located in Baldwin County

  • The transaction must be facilitated by a REALTOR® member of Baldwin REALTORS®

  • The home sales price must be $350,000 or less

  • Their must be a mortgage of 15 years or more

  • The first-time homebuyer must apply within 90 days after closing

Financial Assistance Grant

The Baldwin REALTORS® Foundation provides financial assistance to citizens of Baldwin County, who are struggling due to natural disasters, illness, or other unfortunate circumstances.

Applicants must be referred or sponsored by a member of Baldwin REALTORS®. Assistance is limited to dwelling expenses, including but not limited to repairs to homes, rent payments, mortgage payments, and utility payments.
